FUNDRAISING CONTINUES FOR BREAST CANCER SUFFERER
Breast cancer sufferer, Carolyn Skinner, from Christchurch has raised enough funds for the treatment drug Herception till March this year. Her wonderful friends have been rallying for her to have the extended 12 month treatment but until the government approves this, Carolyn is only entitled to a 9 week government funded course. The rest of the course has to be has to self-funded. Her fundraising efforts has allowed her to continue with the treatment which is great news. But this will only last her till March and more funds are needed. We should all join hands and fight for all women to have better access to any drug that will give them a fighting chance.

Anybody wishing to donate to the Herceptin Fund for Carolyn Skinner can do so by contacting her friend, Val on 03 3477 397 or Jane of BCAC on 09 428 3385. We can all give up one flat white or glass of wine to help Carolyn.
